Sébastien DESARBRES and Bertrand THIEBAUT join CFAO...

Sébastien Desarbres joined CFAO on 11 January as CFAO Director of Investor Relations and Financial Communication.

Sébastien Desarbres, 47, is a graduate of Paris Institute of Political Studies and Université Paris II. He started his career at Crédit Lyonnais in the Capital Markets department then in 1989, joined Lucas France as Deputy Treasurer. In 2002, he moved to Schneider Electric where he held various positions, including that of Director of Financial Communication and Shareholders then Finance Control Director for Gulf countries. As from 2006, he worked as Director of Investor Relations at Carbone Lorraine.

Bertrand Thiebaut has become the Director of Development and across-the-board functions at CFAO Automotive, the CFAO division handling automobile dealerships. He will also be a member of the CFAO executive committee.

Bertrand Thiebaut, 44, is a graduate of the European Business School. He has spent most of his working life with Ford. Having worked as Project Manager in Customer Services and Regional Sales Officer at Ford France, he then moved to Ford’s financial subsidiary in 1998 as Marketing Director for France. In 2000, he transferred to Detroit, to head up Ford Financial Sales and Marketing operations in Europe, Latin America and Asia prior to a transfer to the Automobile Division as Director of Strategy for the Asia-Pacific. region Transferred to Bangkok, Thailand, in 2003, he participated in the development of the Asia-Pacific region as Director of Revenue. In 2006, he was appointed Services Manager in Tokyo for all brands marketed in this area, before directing Jaguar and Land Rover, in the Asia-Pacific region.
