PEUGEOT by CFAO: An extensive partnership for over 50 years

Since 1960, we have been helping Peugeot to expand its business across Africa: Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Chad, Congo, Côte d'Ivoire, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, New Caledonia, Niger and Senegal.

In each of these 13 territories there is at least one Peugeot showroom displaying the range and we have a presence in most major cities. We also provide high-quality after-sales service in specialized workshops with technicians who are trained regularly in the latest techniques, particularly in our Peugeot training center in Côte d’Ivoire.

New Caledonia aside, we market a range of vehicles specially designed for African terrain combining durability with driving pleasure, including the 301, 2008, 4008, 508 and Boxer.

From tools to cars and even coffee mills, Peugeot's history is quite a story. The international reference for efficient, high performance diesel engines

Peugeot pioneered diesel engine technology. In the late 1990s it launched the HDi (high- pressure direct injection) engine that cut both fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by over 20%. In order to maintain this technological leadership, research and innovation have to be a key focus, particularly in the areas of the environment, safety and telematics. Peugeot has also harnessed its technological prowess in motorsports and in 2009 the 908 HDi FAP won the Le Mans 24 Hour Race.
